Construction (Design and Management) Regulations Developing a post tender health and safety plan.


Course Aims

To enable the principal contractor to develop the post tender health and safety plan before work starts on site and to keep it up to date throughout the construction phase.

Each organisation attending this course will receive a model post tender health and safety plan. The plan convers 16 key areas for managing health and safety on site. It has master risk assessment documents and contains examples of generic assessments of general and hazardous substances commonly found on sites.

Other master forms include a visitor's/contractor's registration form, a near miss report, defective equipment report, accident report, damage report, permit to work and a site safety report.

Course Objectives

By the end of this training programme, delegates will be able to;

3. Understand the importance of providing information, instruction and training.

4. Itemise the agenda of a pre-work site meeting.

5. Outline the risk assessment procedures used on site.

6. Develop a general risk assessment package.

9. Understand the site welfare requirements.
